Ambitious. Thoughtful. A Dreamer. Those words barely capture a life shaped by Detroit’s music scene and a relentless passion to create.

At just twelve, I launched a recording studio—one year after Motown began. By high school, I co-founded Pioneer Recording, where rising stars like Glen Frey and Shelia Fantish got their start. By 1964, we opened Michigan’s first four-track recording studio and became part of Detroit’s musical explosion.

I worked with legends like Sammy Davis Jr., Diana Ross, and Don Davis, helping shape the soundtrack of a generation—while witnessing the highs, lows, and hidden struggles of the record business.

This is my journey through music, ambition, and a city that changed the world—one record at a time.
